This set contains professional quality graphite sketching and drawing pencils, in medium degrees. Highly lightfast for longevity, with a strong core that sharpens well and holds a point. Derwent Graphic pencils contain the finest graphite to create a smooth and graduated line, that is easy to remove with an eraser or kneadable putty rubber. The hexagonal barrel design reduces pencil rolling and gives a comfortable grip. Derwent Graphitone sticks are pure compressed graphite sticks for quick coverage. Use like a pencil or break into chunks. Peel off the paper wrapper, add water and watch the graphite dissolve to create dark wash effects.
