The Manuscript Pen Company Dodec Fountain Pen is an ergonomic, lightweight pen designed for everyday use and is popular with students and calligraphy beginners.

• Nib: The pen comes with a butterfly nib, which provides a consistently smooth ink flow. While it’s marketed for calligraphy beginners, it also works well for general handwriting. The nibs are interchangeable, and other sizes can be purchased separately.
• Body and grip: The dodecagonal (twelve-sided) body is made from hard, lightweight resin plastic, which is durable enough for daily use and inexpensive enough that you don’t need to worry about losing or breaking it. The pen also features a knurled, ergonomic grip section that aids in control.
• Ink system: The pen accepts standard international-sized ink cartridges. It also has a plunger-type converter available for use with bottled ink (sold separately). The cap is a screw-on type, which helps prevent the ink from drying out quickly.
